The Allied Health Profession Support Advanced Apprenticeship is a programme of learning and development designed by Skills for Health to enable individuals to develop their skills and knowledge in the health care sector and improve the application of English and maths at work. The programme supports those with a background in care to develop technical abilities in effective client centered care whilst also expanding knowledge of the sector and gaining an insight in to care planning and supervisory management.

The apprenticeship programme is delivered over an 18 month period. There is a mixture of teaching, training and assessment delivered in the workplace by our team of experienced sector experts. Learners are required to meet regularly with their tutor, complete work on time and agree with their employer the time they need to dedicate to their qualification whilst at work.
Upon successful achievement of this programme individuals are awarded with the Pearson Edexcel Level 3 Diploma in Allied Health Profession Support and the overarching Advanced Apprenticeship Certificate. Individuals will then be eligible to study at higher level and develop further their technical knowledge and ability and management skills.
This programme is suitable for anyone who has achieved a level 2 qualification in the health care sector or those with significant experience.v
