The content of each qualification is made up of a choice of general management units and further units chosen to compliment a particular management skill.
ILM Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading
This qualification is designed for new and aspiring team leaders to get an in-depth introduction to the role and its responsibilities. This is a nationally recognised qualification – the ideal launch pad for a management career.
Three mandatory units cover the core skills you need to lead a team. You’ll learn how to plan, allocate and monitor work, tools and techniques to develop yourself as a leader, and how to get the most from your team. Then work with your employer and Rewards Training to find the best fit from a wide range of optional units. These cover everything from communication skills to business improvement techniques. The choice includes units from level 3 qualifications, to help you progress in your career and in formal professional training.

Our range of level 3 qualifications are an ideal way for new first line managers and experienced managers with no formal qualifications to develop new skills and take on new leadership challenges.
This award aims to give practising or potential first line managers the foundation for their formal development in this role. The qualification does this by developing basic management skills and assisting participants in gaining the basic knowledge required at this level.
This award is a combination of three units. The programme is based around 20 guided learning hours, which includes: –
Short induction of 1 hour
Tutorial support of 2 hours
Three half – day workshops to include, solving problems and making decisions, understanding leadership, and understanding how to establish an effective team.
This will include three moderated assessments based on work related issues along with a reflective review. The programme will be completed within 4 – 6 months. The cost of this award is £399 plus VAT, which includes: – registration with ILM, all workshops and support materials, tutorial support and an invitation to an Awards Ceremony.

The suite of ILM qualifications are ideal for individuals who have management responsibilities but no formal training, and are serious about developing their abilities.
