Apprentice Testimonials
"My reason to join an apprenticeship programme [...] was due to me wanting to progress myself and find a career without going to University.
I will be receiving promotion to become fully fledged rather than an apprentice.
I will then take on more responsibility. I adapted my way of working due to my project I completed for the apprenticeship."

Charlie,
Challenge Packaging Ltd, Hailsham

"I grew as a person and in an office environment.

I enjoyed the learning because despite doing business
A-Level, there was so much more for me to learn

My employer was very supportive during my whole apprenticeship."

Bailey,
Verisure Services (UK) Ltd, Newcastle

"I just wanted to thank you for all your help with finding my apprenticeship. I’m very grateful and very happy working here. Thank you again for all your help."

Charlotte,
Business Administration Apprentice

"The Business Administration Apprenticeship is so broad  that it can provide you with the opportunity to be exposed to all aspects of business such as HR, quality, projects, finance and marketing which is really beneficial."

James,
Business Administration Apprentice

"It has been my pleasure to have taken part in a vocational qualification through Rewards Training. My new qualification in Level 3 Business Administration has helped greatly in my quest to further improve my career, so much so that I have recently been offered a promotion at Sofitel Gatwick as Human Resources Co-ordinator. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Rewards for giving me the opportunity to undertake the qualification and also to my assessor for her support throughout. I would recommend Rewards as a training provider to any of my friends/colleagues and I hope to have the opportunity to gain further qualifications through Rewards in the future."

Robert,
 Business Administration Apprentice

"When I dropped out of university I felt trapped because I only had academic qualifications so I didn't really feel like I had many skills to offer a potential employer. Rewards helped me grow in so many ways on both a professional and personal level. Through their support, I gained both confidence and an abundance of transferable skills that I can take with me through any career path I choose to take. I am in a position now where I have plenty of opportunities I would never have had or dreamed of otherwise, and the courage and determination to follow them through.

Rewards Training really did change my life!"

Laura,
 Business Administration Apprentice

“Thank you for your support during my apprenticeship. It has been great to learn about Business Admin and be able to apply this to my job. Throughout the year I have had such amazing opportunities which have helped my confidence grow and broaden my understanding of the business world. These include: shadowing my supporters, completing my Business course and chairing the monthly team meeting. I am really pleased to be staying on with my employer as Marketing & Events Assistant and I look forward to developing in this new role.

Shelby, Business Administration Apprentice

I'm really glad to have undertaken a customer service unit in my Business Administration apprenticeship. I now understand how important it is the way we deal with the customers, the impact this has towards the organisation, how to distinguish what needs to be escalated and what we can deal with, how important it is to keep a professional and clam image etc. Thank you for your support.”

Adriana,
Business Administration Apprentice

“I had just finished college and had a part time job. I joined the apprenticeship programme for an opportunity to find a career I would be interested in. I enjoyed learning and achieved a huge amount over the year, thanks to my employer and the programme. I have received a promotion and now have more responsibility in my job role. Rewards provided good information about the course beforehand and were supportive throughout.”

Brandon,
 Business Administration Apprentice

"I first heard about Rewards when I went to the Job Centre to seek work experience, so I could gain my skills and have a better chance of getting a decent job. When I went for my interview, the staff were very friendly and I felt very comfortable there. When I started my Business Administration Apprenticeship, I was placed in Rewards, so I could develop my skills around the office environment. While I worked at the company I became more confident with communications especially on the phone, I learnt how to do admin work correctly and efficiently, which allowed me to become more qualified and experienced to allow myself to have a better chance of getting a job that I would be good at and enjoy. Thanks to Rewards, who have helped me along the way to developing all the skills I need, I have now got a permanent job with a company and I am very happy with the way my career is developing. Before I went to Rewards, I had been looking for a job for seven months, since I left school and they were able to help me develop as a person and secure my future career within a month."

Amy, Business Administration Apprentice

"Working with Rewards Training towards finding a job has been an amazing experience. I first met with Terry  on my way out of a progress review with my teacher. I briefly discussed my plans for the future, things I enjoyed and they recommended staying in touch with Rewards.

Since that day I was consistently provided with help on improving my CV, on how to keep it organised, bits to added [that you wouldn't think you need, like your hobbies], and keeping it up to date. Feedback was always precise and informative, so very helpful.

I applied to jobs online using my newly polished CV and even jobs that I wasn't offered an interview for complimented my CV and some recommended other places to apply for, which made me feel like I stood out, despite the fact I hadn't even had an interview yet. Eventually I received some emails from a couple of places asking for an interview and managed to receive a offer for a job from my first interview. Now I have found myself working with an amazing bunch of people every day, in a job that I am interested in, where I can learn new things all the time. I also get the pleasure of working along side Rewards Training throughout my IT apprenticeship. Without Rewards Training, I would not be working for a company that it love."

Connor, IT Apprentice

“I achieved far more than I expected with this course, as I finished awhile before I was due to, with good marks on all tests and a far better knowledge of customer service in general. I have taken more responsibility for my own development and actively try to push myself to achieve more in my job role. My employer and especially my line manager were incredibly supportive and helped me in any way that they could when needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my learning, especially being helped by my [Rewards] Assessor.

I cannot make any suggestions on how to improve [this apprenticeship] as my whole experience with Rewards has been amazing. Huge thank you to my Assessor who has been the best help and has provided me with any further information or alterations that I required. I would recommend this course to anyone.”

Zoe, Customer Service Apprentice

The course is very well designed and my assessor is very good at his job. He has been supportive and kept pushing me to do my best.

He has made the course enjoyable and is easy to talk to and to ask for help.”

Julia,
 Hospitality Apprentice

“When I first started, I felt quite timid and not very confident in the kitchen at all. Now I’m confident in the kitchen and I'm happy to cook and prep complex dishes by myself without help. Thank you for helping me progress through my Level 2 and 3 over the past few years.”

Tom,
Hospitality Apprentice

“Upon starting the course, I had no experience of being a chef. I had the intention of making this my career, however, I felt I needed the backing of a qualification to go into this industry, as I also had no previous experience relevant to this job.

At the end of the program, I had achieved the amount of progression that I was hoping for and I'm looking forward to progressing further. I enjoyed the process of learning immensely and felt constant support from the chefs in charge. I felt constantly supported by my [Rewards] Assessor very enjoyable and comfortable meetings.”

Recruitment and Employer Testimonials
"We have always championed the employment and training of young people, many of whom may not have experience but have the commitment and enthusiasm to take on new challenges. Over the last 3 years we have partnered with Rewards Training to find apprentices for our IT and Sales departments and guide them through their training.  We were extremely happy to offer both students permanent, full time positions, and have now taken on a new apprentice."

The Niton999 Group Ltd

"I have recruited two apprentices through Rewards, and have found them to be excellent throughout. The best bit is the continuing attention through the full year of the apprenticeship – high quality trainers working to get the apprentice trained up to be what the company needs."

Principle at ChartLane

"Over recent years, ICC have developed good relationships with Rewards Training. Rewards have attended careers fairs, apprenticeship events and even attended both GCSE and VI form Results Days last year to provide students with helpful and up-to-date information on opportunities in the local area. We are now growing the support programme to look at CV writing and interview techniques. Rewards have also successfully guided our students through the application process to final apprenticeship placement. The Rewards recruitment team always have a friendly smile and welcoming manner to offer and we are now looking forward to further successful placements in the near future."

Ifield Community College

"We are very grateful for the support received from the Recruitment Team at Rewards Training at the following events…

Apprenticeship Application Workshop – Thirty Year 13 students were provided with an interactive session providing guidance and support with writing covering letters and curriculum vitae. Feedback after the session was extremely positive with students feeling confident about what was required and having completed a first draft of their CV. On-going support was offered to these students.

Futures Day – Rewards training gave a 45-minute presentation on applying to apprenticeships to the students in Year 12. This was followed by a careers fair when further support and advice were offered. The presentation received excellent feedback, with students having a clearer idea of the types of apprenticeships on offer, the qualities and skills employers are looking for and how to develop these.

The input that Rewards Training have provided has proved extremely valuable and we look forward to our on-going relationship."

Imberhorne School

"Our employee has made great strides in her performance and confidence since working with Rewards on her Apprenticeship. She is almost unrecognisable as the shy and quiet girl she was only a year ago, and has told me herself that you have helped her an enormous amount with her job role and confidence. She is much more assertive and takes well to a leadership role which she would not have considered previously. As a result of her Apprenticeship with Rewards, and support from yourself, she has been offered promotion. Thank you for helping us develop her into this role as she is a huge asset to our team."

Candlelight Care

"I have worked with Rewards Training on a few occasions. Firstly on an Apprenticeship in Management for myself and then further Apprenticeship training for my team. I loved my assessors training style; she definitely changes her style to suit the student. Her experiences have led her to be full of knowledge and understanding of situations within the work place and how you as a student can deal with them.

Everyone in my team that has worked with Rewards Training has enjoyed their training and I am pleased to say we have a 100% pass rate."

Manager, Plastica Ltd

"We are committed to creating an inclusive culture within our workplace. We have a team of highly experienced IT trainers and felt that the Apprenticeship Scheme would be a fantastic opportunity to work with young people; giving them a great opportunity to learn and work. Over the past 3 years we have built a great relationship with Rewards Training who have provided us with apprentices. They have made the selection process easy for us, providing us with quality candidates. The assessor has been a fantastic support to our apprentices; regularly visiting our offices to meet with them and guide them through the modules they need to complete. As an employer, it's a truly rewarding experience to provide a fantastic employment opportunity to a young person.”

Business Training Testimonials
"We are delighted with the ILM Award and the trainer's approach to the subjects presented during the sessions. The Award allows all of us to reflect on our management styles and at the same time hear about other people’s experiences within their roles in their workplace. It has also allowed us as a team to review our current procedures and think about how we could improve things moving forward."

Aga Debinska, Operations and Finance Manager at Hands Free Computing

Prior to undertaking the ILM Level 3 Leadership and Management course I did not think that I had the skills or the confidence to lead. I have already noticed that I have increased confidence in decision making, have faith in my judgement, and senior colleagues are seeking out my opinion. My confidence and self-belief has grown because of this course. I now feel ready to move forwards within my career, and look forward with confidence to new opportunities.

The presentations and group work were relaxed in style but focused. Everyone in the group made contributions and learnt from each other. The information provided within the presentations had quality content which has informed my learning. The group workshops sessions were of benefit as they linked directly to the assignment questions. The ILM tutor was always encouraging, often giving positive feedback regarding participation within the taught sessions and the assignments. He made it clear from the beginning of the course that he is available if we needed him to look over assignments/clarify things etc.

The course has given me an opportunity to learn so much about myself, about leadership, and Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. It has increased my confidence, self-belief and developed my skills. Many thanks to Brian, the ILM tutor for his approach, he is a great mentor and it has been a pleasure to get to know him.

Jenny, ILM Candidate from Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust

"The First Aid Training we received from Rewards went very well. As a visual learner, I really liked the video element. The Rewards First Aid Specialist was exceptional in the way he consistently re-capped each segment. Not many trainers have done this in the past. Thank you very much for all your help."

Learner from First Aid Training

"I enjoyed the day and l found it very useful and informative. I didn't feel bombarded with information as sometimes happens, as the day was well laid out with plenty of time to interact and ask questions."

Angela, Assertive Communication Learner

"I just wanted to let you know that I was successful with my recent job application for Practice Development Nurse for the community services in Sussex. Thank you so much! With the Rewards trainers encouragement, I been have inspired to push further and aim higher.  I really appreciate all your help with this."

Lucy, ILM Candidate

"I would go so far as to say that the ILM course has been the most useful and engaging course that I have undertaken so far. The range of topics covered in the ILM course has been an eye opener to just how complex many of the things we often give little thought to each day can really be, and I believe the application of critical thinking to such topics and having access to the opinions and thought processes of other colleagues from a wide variety of backgrounds is crucial in developing an understanding of how to improve one's effectiveness as a manager. The trainer was friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic about his subject matter and has a genuine desire to spread better practice in management. I attribute much of the success of this course to Reward’s delivery. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to others in managerial positions, whether already established or new to their roles."

Brian, ILM Candidate

"The tutor was excellent. He listened not only to the group, but to individuals. The tutor would take time out if you needed further clarification on something that you were unable to get to grips with. Nothing was too much trouble."

The course has been well structured and easy to follow and understand. The essays have been clear and easy to complete. The Rewards tutor is a kind and very knowledgeable teacher and is always helpful and supportive. I would recommend this course to others."

Pacherno, ILM Candidate

"I joined Rewards Training’s course on ILM Leadership & Management Level 4 with no prior knowledge of ILM courses. Rewards Training’s tutors were highly knowledgeable and supportive and structured the three full day sessions with an appropriate balance of group discussions, lecturing, practical exercises and presentations. Tutors were clear on which topics were the focus of the course but also provided and recommended additional reading material, including through a book club format, on leadership, motivation, and management approaches. Overall, I found the course very interesting and thought provoking, and useful in improving my approach to line management and creating development plans to support the development of individual staff and the achievement of company goals.”
