Entry Requirements
Apprenticeships are easy to access — most individuals are eligible to receive government and employer funding to pay for their programme. There are some entry requirements that you must meet:
- You must be aged at least 16 and not be undertaking any other full-time government funded course.
- You must have been resident in the UK (or EU) for at least 3 years and have right of abode in the UK.
- No employment restrictions.
- You must be willing to undertake an initial assessment to gauge your ability in English and maths (and ICT where appropriate to your role).
- You must show enthusiasm for working in your chosen employment sector.
- You must have access to an internet enabled PC or laptop.
- You must be committed to achieving your apprenticeship.

What’s Included?
An Apprenticeship is a blend of practical skills and knowledge. A typical Apprenticeship is made up of 4 key elements;
- On the Job Training, vocational experience with full employee benefits.
- Off the job Training, working with our trainers and mentors to develop knowledge of the sector.
- Functional Skills in English, Maths and ICT
- End Point Assessment, Examinations, projects, demonstrations and interviews to confirm competence
By completing all elements individuals gain a nationally certificated qualification that is recognised by employers as a benchmark for quality training and experience.

Learner Commitment
- You will complete planned work on time and submit it to your trainer for feedback.
- You will take care to use accurate spelling and grammar in your written work and communication.
- You will commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week of your own time for study and completing the work agreed with your tutor/assessor.
- You will keep your employer up to date with your progress.
- You will notify your trainer at least 24 hours before your appointment if you need to postpone (your employer may be charged if you do not).
- You will complete all necessary work, assessments, tests and exams by the dates agreed with your trainer.

Our Commitment To You
- Your trainer will visit you regularly.
- You will have access to an online portfolio where you can store your work and communicate with your trainer, and keep track of your progress.
- Your trainer will arrange suitable dates for your tests and exam.
- We will register you with an accredited awarding body.
- We will ensure you receive certificates for all completed components and apply for your apprenticeship certificate.

Employer Commitment
What we expect from you as an employer and your apprentice:
- Access to your premises to conduct assessment, training and reviews.
- Access to your premises to conduct a basic health & safety check.
- Access for your apprentice to complete all relevant work experience and assessment.
- Agreement for future planned visits.
- Support to prepare your apprentice for assessment.
- Timely communication.
- Apprentices must have access to an internet enabled PC or laptop.
