Applicants are invited to apply for this great opportunity for Level 3 qualification. We have an opportunity for a Hairdressing Apprentice to join our growing team. As this role is Level 3, you must already have achieved the Level 2 qualification.

Our salon offer a bespoke experience in a friendly, professional environment.

Working week

You will be working and training in salon 5 days per week, including some weekend days - days and shifts to be discussed and agreed.

Salary

£7.55 per hour for the first year, and then National Minimum Wage for your age, plus the opportunity to earn commission.

Training to be provided

Intermediate apprenticeship in Hairdressing, which includes:

Level 3 Hairdressing

As a Level 3 Hairdressing Apprentice, you will be trained in the following units:

• Style and finish hair
• Set and dress hair
• Cut hair using basic techniques
• Colour and lighten hair
• Advise and consult with clients
• Shampoo, condition, and treat the hair and scalp
• Develop and maintain your effectiveness at work
• Relax hair
• Perm and neutralise hair
• Plait and twist hair
• Temporarily attach hair to enhance a style
• Remove hair extensions
• Fulfil salon reception duties
• Cut men's hair using basic techniques

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: From £7.55 per hour

Monday to Friday

Tristan Eves brings Mayfair-quality hairdressing to a home-from-home space in the heart of historic Petworth. Founder, Tristan, has worked for some of London’s most prestigious salons and has brought together a similarly talented and experienced team. That team is now looking for a Level 2 Hairdressing Apprentice!

The role is 4 days per week, including some weekends, with full training and support throughout your apprenticeship. You will be assigned a Rewards Hair Academy trainer to develop your knowledge and skill, preparing you for all of your assessments.

As an apprentice, you will learn all aspects of hairdressing including:

• Shampooing
• Reception duties
• Cleaning to main a tidy and safe environment
• Mixing colours
• Basic cuts
• Greeting clients
• Day to day running of a successful salon
